Haley Vanderpool, DDS

Originally from southern Idaho, Dr. Vanderpool brings a friendly, down-to-earth approach to dentistry and a strong connection to the Pacific Northwest. She helps patients understand their options, feel comfortable asking questions, and take the next right step toward the smile they have always wanted.

Education and Training

Dr. Vanderpool first fell in love with Washington when she moved to Pullman to attend Washington State University. She will always be a Coug at heart, but her path eventually brought her across the state to the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Her education gave her a strong foundation in diagnosis, prevention, restorative treatment planning, and patient communication. Just as important, it confirmed that this side of the state was the place for her. After dental school, Dr. Vanderpool chose to build her life and career in Western Washington, caring for patients in the Seattle community.

Why Dentistry

Dr. Vanderpool loves that dentistry gives her the chance to help people in a practical, personal, and lasting way. Every appointment is an opportunity to solve problems, improve comfort, and help patients feel better about their smiles. She is also drawn to the constant growth dentistry requires. New techniques, continuing education, and everyday conversations with patients all shape the way she practices.

That combination of learning and connection is what keeps her work meaningful. Dr. Vanderpool values the trust patients place in her and takes that responsibility seriously. She wants each patient to leave with a clearer understanding of their oral health and a realistic plan for moving forward.

A first visit with Dr. Vanderpool is unhurried, clear, and centered on the patient’s goals. New patients receive a comprehensive dental exam, digital X-rays when needed, periodontal screening, oral cancer screening, and a careful review of any current concerns. Dr. Vanderpool explains findings in straightforward language and gives patients time to ask questions before discussing treatment options. The goal is simple: patients understand what is happening, why it matters, and what comes next.

Outside the Office

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Vanderpool loves spending time with her family and dogs. She enjoys getting out around the Pacific Northwest, whether that means exploring somewhere new, enjoying the outdoors, or simply relaxing at home with a good book. Her life outside the office reflects the same steady, personable style she brings to dentistry: grounded, curious, and connected to the people and places around her.
