Invisalign in South Lake Union, Seattle

Straighter Teeth Without Brackets, Wires, or a Two-Year Commitment

Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners to gently move your teeth into place. Most adult cases finish in six to eighteen months, and most people barely notice you are wearing them.

A Modern Way to Straighten Your Smile

Most adults who think about getting their teeth straightened don’t want to spend a year or two with metal brackets glued to their teeth. Invisalign is the alternative many of our patients have been waiting for. The aligners are nearly invisible, smooth against your cheeks and tongue, and you take them out to eat, drink coffee, and brush and floss normally.

Dr. Sabrina has helped many South Lake Union patients straighten their smiles in a way that fits into busy work and travel schedules. Because she does both your routine dental care and your Invisalign treatment, you don’t have to coordinate between two offices.

Common reasons patients choose Invisalign

  • Mild to moderate crowding or crooked teeth
  • Gaps and spacing they have always wanted to close
  • Mild bite issues (overbite, underbite, crossbite)
  • Teeth that have shifted years after wearing braces as a teenager
  • Preparing the bite before a cosmetic case like veneers

Your Invisalign Process at TDSD

Step 1: Consultation and 3D scan

Dr. Sabrina evaluates your bite, takes a digital 3D scan of your teeth (no goopy impressions), and confirms whether Invisalign is the right approach for your case. You will see a preview of your projected results before you commit to anything.

Step 2: Custom treatment plan

Your aligners are designed using a detailed plan tailored to your teeth, your bite, and your goals. We talk through the projected length of treatment, the cost, and any small tooth-colored attachments your case may need.

Step 3: Wearing your aligners

You wear each set of aligners about 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out only to eat, drink anything besides water, and brush. You move to a new set every one to two weeks at home.

Step 4: Check-in visits

You see Dr. Sabrina every six to ten weeks to make sure things are tracking as planned and to pick up your next sets of aligners. Most check-ins are short.

Step 5: Retainers

When your treatment is complete, you wear retainers to keep your new smile stable for the long term. We make sure you have a clear retainer plan before you finish.

When an Orthodontist Is the Better Choice

Invisalign is excellent for many adult cases, but it is not the right tool for every situation. Severe bite problems, complex jaw alignment issues, and certain growing patient cases get better results with a full-time orthodontist. When that is the case, Dr. Sabrina will tell you honestly and refer you to a trusted orthodontist in the Seattle area.

No food restrictions, because you take the aligners out to eat. That is one of the biggest practical advantages over traditional braces.

They will if you don’t wear retainers. Retainers keep your new smile stable, and we will set you up with a clear retainer plan before you finish.
