Lauren Yasuda Rainey, DDS

Dr. Rainey’s clinical focus centers on rebuilding and strengthening teeth with a careful restorative approach. Her work includes comprehensive restorative dentistry, advanced restorative techniques, Bioclear restorative treatment, materials-focused care, and treatment planning designed around comfort, quality, and durable function. As one of a small number of Bioclear MasterTrack certified doctors worldwide, she has advanced training in a highly specific restorative method that supports conservative tooth repair, strong contours, and natural-looking restorative outcomes.

Education and Training

Dr. Rainey earned her dental degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She then completed advanced training through a general practice residency at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where dentists gain experience treating a broad range of patients and clinical needs beyond dental school.

Her background also includes service on the faculty at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. That teaching role reflects the same clinical discipline she brings to patient care: clear standards, careful technique, and a commitment to continued learning.

Dr. Rainey has practiced dentistry for more than a decade and lectures across the United States and internationally on comprehensive restorative techniques for dentists and dental teams. Her work as a lecturer, former dental school faculty member, and Bioclear MasterTrack certified doctor gives patients access to a clinician who not only practices advanced restorative dentistry, but also teaches other dental professionals how to improve their own clinical skills.

After a decade of clinical practice in the Bay Area, Dr. Rainey relocated to the greater Seattle area and brought that depth of restorative experience to Seattle’s Downtown Dentist. Her patients benefit from a dentist who is both highly technical and deeply attentive to the experience in the chair.

First Visit

A first visit with Dr. Rainey is unhurried, organized, and centered on understanding the patient’s goals. New patients receive a comprehensive exam that includes digital X-rays, a periodontal screening, an oral cancer screening, intraoral photos, and a careful review of existing dental work and restorative concerns.

Outside the Office

After building a decade of clinical experience in the Bay Area, Dr. Rainey relocated to the greater Seattle area. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. When she is indoors, she is often baking a cake.
